About
Kara Barnes, LMHC, PMH-C
Kara is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington and virtually in the state of Idaho. She has a specialized certificate in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and expertise in workplace mental health.
PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH:
Kara has specialized training to support women who are pregnant, trying to get pregnant and postpartum. Kara works most often with women struggling with anxiety, intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors in the perinatal stage.
WORKPLACE TRAUMA & STRESS
Kara also has expertise in supporting social service workers who experience stress from interacting with traumatic material in their jobs. She works with employees experiencing trauma, burnout and compassion fatigue.
